Intelligent Automation

TACIT: transferring industrial contact skills to robots

TACIT is Neurocube's developing platform for contact-rich robotic automation. It is designed for industrial tasks where conventional trajectory programming is not enough: sanding, polishing, deburring, sealing, adhesive application, deformable assembly and other processes where quality depends on physical interaction.

Instead of teaching only positions and orientations, TACIT aims to capture how expert operators establish contact, regulate pressure, maintain sliding, react to friction and correct local deviations.
